Wow!

She has grown so much this past year.  Her personality just keeps getting bigger and bigger!  One things for sure:  the girl still can rock a tutu!

Happy Friday!

17 months and Potty time!

Happy 17 Months. Eliza Grace!
Here is a picture I took of you the morning of your "birthday", 10-19-10.

and another one...
and ONE more cause you are so darn cute!
Eliza Grace you are such a happy girl.  You make me start my day with a huge smile and it continues throughout the day!  I love YOU to the MOON and BACK!

This past weekend Grammi came to visit and we did some power shopping :)  Grammi got you a ton of fall clothes.  And, well Mommy got you potties...ha!

You knew right away where daddy keeps the reading material.
You sat there and read for a while.  You didn't do any "business" this particular time.  BUT, you have "pee-pee'd inthe potty" (imagine me singing this) TWICE since!  You are such a smart girl.  We will keep on trying and getting you familiar with your new thrones.  I even picked up something very special for you when you do go...

CANDY!  Now, you only get these if you go...I'm told by several reliable sources that this sort of bribery works!  I'll keep y'all posted. ;)

I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Weekend Recap

It's been a busy few days.  Eliza Grace and I traveled to see Grandma and Grandpa last Wednesday and stayed until Saturday.  It was great to spend some much needed time with them.  Eliza Grace really enjoyed herself.  We spent the days shopping, playing outside, eating grandma's yummy cooking, taking long bubble baths, and lots of hugs to all!  Oh, and grandma made her trick or treat bag (so cute!)  I didn't take many pics because we were on the go so much...here are a couple:
Modeling a cute new outfit I got her because she had a little accident while we were out!

Grandma holding Rufus.  EG never really warmed up to him...maybe next time!

We came home on Saturday and David took us to Fall for Greenville.  It's an annual festival downtown.

Eliza Grace was our tour guide...ha!

Making sure we did not get lost.

And, just plain being cute!

Finally, we ended the festival on a very fun note!!

Sunday was pretty relaxing.  The three of us went for a long walk in the morning.  We spent the afternoon playing around the house and cheering for Da Bears!!
We helped Daddy put up the pumpkin...
They were pretty proud of their work :)
and pretty darn cute, too!
That's it for now.
We are going to continue to hold on to every moment we have been blessed with.

Yum, Yum, eat em up!

In the past day or so Eliza Grace has really gotten the hang of feeding herself with her fork and spoon!
it takes concentration...and a steady hand...
but, SO worth it!
